Community Engagement Assistant - Entry Level
Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Community Engagement Assistant to join our event marketing team. In this role, you will support community outreach efforts, help build meaningful relationships, and represent our organization at local events and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with community outreach programs and engagement initiatives to increase awareness and participation.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, community organizations, and event partners.
- Represent the company at community events, networking opportunities, fairs, and promotional activities.
- Communicate with community members to provide information about upcoming events, programs, and initiatives.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of community events, workshops, and outreach campaigns.
- Assist the marketing team with promotional materials, event preparation, and campaign support.
- Collect feedback and insights from community members to improve future engagement strategies.
- Maintain organized records of community contacts, event activities, and outreach efforts.
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience while serving as a representative of the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a variety of audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Interest in community relations, event marketing, public relations, communications, or nonprofit initiatives.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, marketing, event coordination, hospitality, outreach, or promotions is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sociology, Business, or a related field preferred.
